The 2010 Best of Cincinnati® issue is upon us, and once again you’re being called on to decide the winners of the readers poll. It’s your sacred duty to help bestow the honor of “Best of Cincinnati” on deserving people, places, businesses and organizations.

From now through the end of February we’ll tabulate your votes in more than 200 different categories organized into six sections: Eats (restaurants), Goods & Services (retail), Out & About (arts and nightlife), Public Eye (politics and media), Urban Life (neighborhoods and heroes) and Jocks (sports and recreation). You choose the winners, and the winners will forever be known as the “Best of Cincinnati.”

Here’s how it works:

• Every category has a pull-down menu of nominees as well as a “write in” option. Most categories were seeded with the top 10 finishers in last year’s readers poll, and new “write in” nominations are added regularly to the pull-down menus.

• You must include an email address when you vote, but no other personal information is required.

• Only one ballot per email address and/or name. Duplicate ballots will be discarded.

If you’d like to see who won previous readers polls, the 2009 results are available by clicking on the section names across the top of this page. If you click on the Past Years tab, you can also choose a Best of Cincinnati issue going back to 2001.

Deadline to vote: Sunday, Feb. 21.

Results will appear in the 14th annual Best of Cincinnati issue on March 31.
